United Way Garba is one of most well-known Garba/Dandiya Event in Gujarat. The main reason why it’s so famous and most awaited by people is its ambience, as well as the decoration. It’s a perfect amalgamation of Traditional and modern values. Also, very renowned singers and artists perform every year at United Way Garba.

A Fundraising Event

The Garba Mohatsav is used as a fundraiser for United Way, an NGO working for the welfare of the community. It has been organized like this every year from the last 29 years. The fund that is raised from the event is then distributed to nearly 140 charitable organizations across the city. It’s used for the betterment of economically poor, senior citizens and children. It also runs various Garba competitions for players in various categories throughout the nine days.

The whole event is also going to be Live Telecasted on Colors Gujarati all over the world. There is also adequate food arrangements for all, with multi-cuisine food stalls selling more than 70 dishes. Adequate Parking and Security arrangements have been put up by the management. Also if you’re not interested in playing Garba, you can simply view people doing the Garba from Viewer’s stand.

2. Vadodara Navratri Festival 2018

Vadodara Navratri Festival 2018 is known for its traditional Navratri Celebrations. It was first held in the year 2015, and since then it has been a rage among people. Aamir Khan also attended this year’s Vodadara Navratri Festival in 2017and promoted his superhit film Secret Superstar. The Lead Singers in 2017 includes some of the famous names in the country like Gautam Dabir, Anupa Pota, Shyam Ghediya and Seema Deepak Parikh from Aarohi Group. Seema Parikh is very popular and has been performing in Garba functions for the last 25 years.

3. Maa Shakti Garba Mohatsav 2017

Maa Shakti Garba Mohatsav is the other big-ticket event that happens in Vadodara. Moreover, it’s registered as the Largest Garba in the world, in Limca Book of World Records. Nearly, 40000 dancers participated in that record-breaking event held 13 years ago(2005). You can book your tickets on BookmyShow.

This year also, the event is going to be organized in Gujarat Housing Board Ground on Samta Road in the cultural city of Gujarat, Vadodara. Achal Mehta of Rishabh Group is going to be the lead singer for the Event.

4. Ratri After Navratri: Charity Garba 2017

On different days different singers are also participating. Famous singers like Shyamal, Saumil and Aarti Munshi will be gracing the event on 30th September. While Shri Atul Purohit would the lead singer for the 1st October show.
